FBT Horizon Vertical Horizontal Array Hire
Developed to meet the increasingly diverse needs of rental clients, the HORIZON VHA (Vertical Horizontal Array) series by FBT is set to rewrite the rules of sound reinforcement system design. Delivering optimal audience coverage with the ability to adapt to the requirements of the project at hand, HORIZON VHA represents a step forward in flexible sound reinforcement technology with exceptional sound quality. Crafted in Italy with the no-compromises manufacturing excellence for which FBT is known, the HORIZON VHA series comprises the full range VHA 406 ND, plus low-end extension in the shape of the 118 (VHA 118 SND).
The centre of the entire project is the 800+400W RMS amplification module with TCP/IP network interface. Based on the OCA ALLIANCE AES70 standard, the new HORIZON family receives 24-bit 48-96Khz digital audio streaming from all devices compatible with the DANTE standard and communicates with the INFINITO System Management Suite remote control software. The module is contained in an aluminium chassis with intelligent forced ventilation and is equipped with an OLED display with encoder for parameter setting and a high-brightness blue front LED allows remote identification of the device, also in daylight. Fully developed in house by the FBT R&D team, INFINITO is the software revolution that enhances the user experience, reaching new heights in terms of performance and simplicity.
The purpose-designed central waveguide, optimized with BEM finite element simulators, offers dispersion of 90° horizontal and 20° vertical, with precise and focused vertical control across the enclosure’s entire operating range.
The result is a combination of perfectly balanced, symmetrical dispersion.

The front of the loudspeaker is covered with a powder coated perforated steel grille.
Using BEM finite element simulations, FBT has optimized the woofer’s load volume, while careful study of the grille and the assembly’s protective fabric have minimized acoustic impedance for a net improvement in performance, compared to previous models. The VHA118SND extends the overall system frequency response to 30Hz, while supporting fully ground-stacked configurations, courtesy of a special integrated mounting hardware.

Using the AFMG’s EASE FOCUS 3 PC software, it is possible to design the most appropriate configuration by simulating SPL distribution and system frequency response across all listening areas.
Infinito – FBT MUSE Software
With the release of Infinito – System Management Suite, FBT redefines the concept of monitoring remote control. Entirely developed by the FBT Research and Development team, Infinito is dedicated to next-generation products, such as MUSE active speakers. Infinito uses a TCP/IP protocol over Ethernet infrastructure, based on the open standard AES70 of the OCA Alliance.
Additional flexibility is guaranteed by the innovative graphic interface of Infinito, based on three operating modes:
SETUP, TUNING and SHOW. Each of these is protected by security passwords, to avoid unintentional parameter changes.
More than 100 devices can be connected on the same network, with automatic IP address assignment and cascade connection with hardware bypass function. Infinito promises accurate control and monitoring of the status of each connected device in real-time, providing the user with immediate feedback, also via touch-oriented graphical interface.
The multi-level control menu offers the possibility to focus an overwiew of the entire system or on the parameters of a single device.
The system guarantees two grouping processes, Basic and Advanced, that allow users to create groups of devices and control them with two different levels of detail, making it easy to assign and use the devices.
