Variable Curvature Line Array

An innovative line array system with refined, technologically advanced engineering. These are the qualities of the FBT Muse speaker that redefines the concept of line array in terms of power, size, lightness, flexibility and practicality of use. The modularity from 2 to 16 speakers allows use in a wide variety of situations, from small band to large outdoor concert.

MUSE 210LND/LN has two custom 250mm woofers with 64mm high excursion coil and two custom B&C drivers with 25mm throat.

The waveguide, optimised with BEM finite element simulations to minimise distortion, has a horizontal dispersion of 90°.

The new amplification module with a TCP/IP network interface represents the pinnacle of the FBT MUSE design, embodying the OCA ALLIANCE AES70 standard. The FBT MUSE family adeptly supports 24-bit 48-96Khz digital audio streaming from devices compatible with the DANTE standard while seamlessly integrating with the INFINITO System Management Suite remote control software. Housed in a robust aluminium chassis featuring intelligent forced ventilation, the module boasts an OLED display with an encoder for precise parameter adjustments and a high-brightness blue front LED for easy remote identification in various lighting conditions. Developed entirely by the FBT R&D team, the INFINITO software system marks a revolutionary advancement, significantly enhancing user experience and achieving unparalleled levels of performance and simplicity.

To extend the low frequencies, the FBT MUSE system includes two subwoofer models:

The FBT MUSE 118SND is a cutting-edge reversible subwoofer designed for standard or cardioid configurations, featuring integrated suspension hardware for versatile deployment. Its innovative hybrid acoustic band-pass design incorporates a single 460mm B&C woofer and an 88mm neodymium coil, powered by a robust 1600W RMS amplifier capable of achieving an impressive 140dB SPL. This makes it an excellent choice for suspension with the FBT MUSE 210LND or within a separate cluster, offering exceptional sound performance and flexibility for a variety of applications.

The FBT MUSE 218SND is a direct radiation ground subwoofer, it has 2 B&C 460mm long-throw woofers and 4000W class D amplification capable of 148.5dB SPL. The subwoofer serves as the basis for ground-stack configurations and is equipped with a preset for cardioid configuration.

Using the AFMG’s EASE FOCUS 3 PC software, it is possible to design the most appropriate configuration by simulating SPL distribution and system frequency response across all listening areas.

Infinito – FBT MUSE Software

With the release of Infinito – System Management Suite, FBT redefines the concept of monitoring remote control. Entirely developed by the FBT Research and Development team, Infinito is dedicated to next-generation products, such as MUSE active speakers. Infinito uses a TCP/IP protocol over Ethernet infrastructure, based on the open standard AES70 of the OCA Alliance.

Additional flexibility is guaranteed by the innovative graphic interface of Infinito, based on three operating modes:
SETUP, TUNING and SHOW. Each of these is protected by security passwords, to avoid unintentional parameter changes.

More than 100 devices can be connected on the same network, with automatic IP address assignment and cascade connection with hardware bypass function. Infinito promises accurate control and monitoring of the status of each connected device in real-time, providing the user with immediate feedback, also via touch-oriented graphical interface.

The multi-level control menu offers the possibility to focus an overwiew of the entire system or on the parameters of a single device.
The system guarantees two grouping processes, Basic and Advanced, that allow users to create groups of devices and control them with two different levels of detail, making it easy to assign and use the devices.
